Shahrukh Khan turned producer when he set up a production company called Dreamz Unlimited with Juhi Chawla and director Aziz Mirza.
Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani and Asoka are their first productions but they were commercial flops.
Shahrukh Khan set up another production company, Red Chillies Entertainment. Om Shanti Om, Main Hoon Na are hit movies produced by Red Chillies Entertainment.
Apart from film production, the company also has a visual effects studio known as Red Chillies VFX.
In 2008, Red Chillies Entertainment became the owner of the Kolkata Knight Riders in the BCCI-backed IPL cricket competition.
