Hrithik Roshan (Born 10 January 1974) is a Bollywood(Hindi) acter. Hrithik Roshan acted in some of the hindi films as a child actor in the 1980s. In Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai (2000) Hrithik Roshan acted the leading role. The film was a major success, and Roshan's performance earned him Filmfare Awards for Best Actor and Best Male Debut.

He has been noted for his performances in films like Koi... Mil Gaya (2003), Krrish (2006), Dhoom 2 (2006) and Jodhaa Akbar (2008) which are also his biggest commercial successes so far, and for which he won numerous Best Actor awards.

In 2008, Hrithik Roshan received his first international award at the Golden Minbar International Film Festival in Kazan, Russia for his performance in Jodhaa Akbar.
Hrithik Roshan has thus established himself as one of the leading actors of Bollywood.

Hrithik Roshan was born in Mumbai, into a Punjabi Hindu family of cinema personalities.
Hrithik Roshan's father, is a film director. His name is Rakesh Roshan. Rakesh Roshan is the son of music director Roshan, while his mother, Pinky, is the daughter of producer and director J. Om Prakash. Hrithik Roshan's uncle Rajesh Roshan is a famous music director.
As a child, Hrithik Roshan attended the Bombay Scottish School. Hrithik Roshan later attended Sydenham College, where he did his Bachelors in Commerce.

Hrithik Roshan is married to Suzanne Khan, owner of Sussanne Roshan's House of Design and daughter of actor Sanjay Khan. The couple have two sons, Hrehaan, born in 2006 and Hridaan born in 2008.
